Pawcatuck River Curling Club is excited to announce a new partnership with Boss Arena at the University of Rhode Island. Starting this fall, PRCC and Ocean State Curling Club will bring curling to southern Rhode Island with a full calendar of curling events.
Upcoming Dates at Boss Arena
Oct. 3, 2025 – Special kick-off night for PRCC & OSCC members (2 sheets, free of charge).
Oct. 17, Nov. 7 & 21, Dec. 12 – Public Learn to Curl sessions and drop-in matches.
Feb. 6 & 20, 2026 – Learn to Curl nights during the Winter Olympics, with live Olympic coverage on big screens.
April 2026 – Tentative bonspiel in Providence.
Thanks to support from Oak Valley, Boss Arena may add additional stones, allowing up to 4 sheets of curling. PRCC volunteers will play a key role in instructing Learn to Curl sessions — and volunteers will get preference for the Oct. 3 friendly kick-off.
👉 Want to be part of it?
New to curling? Sign up for a Learn to Curl and experience the sport first-hand.
Already a curler? Volunteer as an instructor and help grow the game in Rhode Island.
This collaboration opens the door for more local curling opportunities — and could even lead to a URI curling team in the future.
📅 Mark your calendars and join PRCC in making history at Boss Arena!
